LanDetective Professional can provide you with the proof you need, if you suspect that one or more employees are spending their time on social medias, instead of being productive. The software is capable of logging accessed web pages or FTP servers, exchanged emails and conversations. The best part is that you don't have to make too many configurations.

You only need to install LanDetective Professional on your own computer, to monitor the Internet activity on the local network. The setup kit is almost 20 MB and it will install the software's files in less than a minute.

You can monitor other computers, over a network, or monitor your own computer, if it is used by other persons. You can switch between different layouts, on the same interface, to see a live view of someone's Internet activity, manage the created logs or to access a few statistics. When someone visits a web page, connects to a FTP server and so on, the event will appear in a list, on the Live and Log pages. The accessed web sites, FTP servers, sent emails and conversations are listed on separate tabs.

If you select a listed event, its details and preview will appear on the lower part of the interface, beneath the list. The Live and Log sections display the same events, but you can find more options, on the Log page. The software allows you to create and use numerous filters, to show events from a certain date, time, host, client MAC, IP and more. You can also group logs, export them in different formats or use a search function to find specific logs instantly.

If an employee visits a web site which is important for his work, you can avoid overloading your logs with this information. The software gives you the possibility of rejecting or accepting specific URLs, file names, accounts, email senders and recipients, IP addresses and more, by adding them in different lists, on a separate window. LanDetective Professional is capable of connecting to other computers through a hub, a switch, with port security enabled or through a Wi-Fi access point. While monitoring, the program will not leave a clue on the remote computers, so no one will know that he is being monitored.
